Principalisation

Principalisation Programme

The Principalisation Programme prepares qualified property practitioners to sit for the PDE 5 exam, enabling them to progress into ownership and management of their own firms. The programme provides both financial and non-financial support, offering guidance on compliance and business establishment. It specifically empowers Black women and other historically disadvantaged individuals (HDIs) who are currently non-principals to transition into principal roles within 12 months. Through this initiative, participants gain the knowledge and capacity to open and manage their own property firms.

The Principalisation Programme ultimately seeks to increase the number of Black-, women-, and youth-owned property enterprises, thereby addressing historic underrepresentation in property ownership and management.
