The six approved research topics are:
- The impact of post-matric curriculum on the transformation of the South African property sector.
- Assessing professionalism in the property sector of South Africa.
- Sector skills development and resilience in the South African property market.
- The attraction and retention of emerging property practitioners in rural provinces of South Africa.
- The transformation of the property sector through alignment of compliance strategy and enforcement mechanisms.
- An analysis of the level of maturity of South African property market
To date, the first three research projects have been successfully concluded (can be accessed below). The fourth research project currently underway focuses on the attraction and retention of emerging property practitioners in rural provinces of South Africa. Through the PSRC, the PPRA and NRF continues to promote research that contributes to knowledge development, supports evidence-based decision making, and advances the transformation and sustainability of the property sector.
