Welcome to the Institutional Repository hub of the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority, an open access electronic archive collecting, preserving, and distributing digital materials created, owned, and hosted by the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority.
RESEARCH MANDATE
The mandate of the Research Centre is to conduct research. The research reports and other materials deposited into the Repository of the PPRA are based on the Research Framework outlined in Section 22 (4) of the Property Practitioners Act 22 of 2019. The Research Centre is established and mandated by the act to operate in partnerships with the National Research Foundation and institutions of higher learning.
The Property Research Centre is aimed at:
- Increasing the national scientific research and innovation capability through the development of human capacity and stimulating the generation of new knowledge in the property sector.
- Becoming the central repository of expert knowledge on pre-determined areas of the transformation of the property sector in South Africa; and
- Supporting the realisation of South Africa’s transformation into knowledge-based economy in which the generation of knowledge translates into socioeconomic benefits.
