Professional Designation Examination (‘PDE’) registration or enrolment:

 

PDE registration/enrolment is done strictly via the PPRA Portal.

No registration /enrolment forms (including those used in the past) will be issued to prospective PDE candidates for the purposes of enrolment or registration for the examination.

No PDE registration/ enrolment submitted by the prospective PDE candidate will be regarded.

Payment for PDE registration /enrolment must be made using the correct Reference number and by the closing date.

No need to email payment proof to PPRA as this will reflect on the PPRA Bank statement.

Property Practitioners must note that the PPRA links PDE payments to the PDE registration/ enrolment made on the portal to generate an Exam Seat Number and allocate on the Property Practitioner’s profile on the portal. This therefore means that the PPRA will not send seat numbers but Property Practitioners must check for these by logging-in onto t their profile on the portal.

Property practitioners may check their seat numbers at least from two weeks before the actual exam date.  at least

PDE Results:

PDE results are released at least eight (8) weeks after the actual exam date.

To check results, Property Practitioners are requested to logon their profile on PPRA Portal which is on www.theppra.org.za.  

Exam results are updated on the profiles of Property Practitioners at least within two weeks of the release of the exam results to property practitioners.

PDE results Appeals:

Appeals against the results and or the request for a virtual review of examination scripts must be lodged via the Query Management Portal which is on www.theppra.org.za and within 10 – 14 days after release of exam results.

 

Payment proof must be attached to the request for appeal and strictly sent to resultsappeal@theppra.org.za

No appeals or requests for review of scripts will be processed post the appeal lodgement prescribe period and payment made for appeal can thus be requested for use for other PPRA transactions by the property practitioner or refund request may be made via the Portal Query Management system.

The PPRA would like to extend an invitation once again to the affected stakeholders who have not yet enrolled for the upcoming PDE scheduled to take place on the 09th February 2023 to enroll during a special enrolment window which is closing on Friday the 27th January 2023.
