The Estate Agency Affairs Board (“the EAAB”) has noted, with regret, that certain details of a forensic report by Deloitte & Touche (“Deloittes”) into Ms Nomonde Mapetla’s alleged mis-management of her office appear to have been recently leaked to the media.
According to Bryan Chaplog, the current CEO of the EAAB, “the forensic report by Deloittes is presently under consideration by the EAAB, and the EAAB did not authorise its release to the media.
As soon as the EAAB and its legal team have properly considered the report, a decision will be taken on what further steps, if any, ought to be taken”. Chaplog added that, “the EAAB accepts no responsibility for the release, nor the publication, of the report or its dissemination.
