PPRA SECOND COMMUNICATION TO NOVEMBER 2022 PDE
COMMUNICATION TO ALL AFFECTED EXAM CANDIDATES WHO COULD NOT WRITE THE EXAM ON THE 17TH AND 30TH NOVEMBER 2022 AND WISH TO WRITE ON 09 FEBRUARY 2023
On 08 December 2022, the PPRA issued a communication with regards to stakeholders who were unable to sit for PDE on the 17th and the 30th November 2022 due to various reasons relating to the online technical issues.
The PPRA would like to extend an invitation once again to the affected stakeholders who have not yet enrolled for the upcoming PDE scheduled to take place on the 09th February 2023 to enrol during a special enrolment window which is closing on Friday the 27th January 2023. The enrolment must be done strictly via the PPRA portal as this is the only way the PPRA will know which venues will be able to accommodate what numbers and also enables the PPRA to issue exam seat numbers.
As communicated on the 08 December 2022, the affected stakeholders will not be required to make payment but they will also be communicated to with regards to their allocated exam seat numbers using the previous exam fees paid to align with the new portal exam enrolment received.
Affected stakeholders who cannot write in February are free to enrol for the PDE scheduled to take place on the 23rd March 2023 (NB: March exam is not yet open for enrolment on the portal but will be open for portal enrolment on the 03rd February 2023 as previously communicated).
It is important to emphasise that any affected stakeholder who fails to register on the portal will not be issued with the exam seat number and they will not able to access the exam centre/venue.
It is also important to emphasise that this is the second and last opportunity for the affected stakeholders to write the PDE without making payment (in recognition of the fact that they have previously paid), and those who fail to write on 09 February and 23 March will forfeit their previous paid exam fees.
Furthermore, the PPRA wishes to re-emphasise that this is a special window and offer which is strictly applicable to those who have previously paid the exam fees but couldn’t write the exam in November 2022. Candidates are further advised to update their email addresses on the portal during the enrolment process as the most recent and updated email address will be used to communicate allocated seat numbers and results.
We thank you for your understanding and wishing you best of luck for the forthcoming examination.
Issued by the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority Issue Date: 25th January 2023.
