LAST PHASE-INVITATION TO ATTEND PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING RACISM PRACTICES WITHIN THE PROPERTY SECTOR

The hearings were prompted by receipt of written comments pertaining to alleged racism practices within the property sector as well as an investigation undertaken by the PPRA as a result of the complaint report received against a Property Practitioner (estate agent) in the Western Cape province. The PPRA is hosting a series of hearings and inviting all stakeholders in efforts to unearth the prevalence of alleged racist practices within the industry and further aim to investigate the efficacy of the application of the code of conduct for the industry.
