Estate Agency Affairs Board mourns the passing of Pam Golding

The Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) has received with great sadness the news of the passing away of Mrs Pam Golding, founder of Pam Golding Property Group at the age of 90.

We send our deepest condolences to her children, the entire family, Pam Golding Properties and the entire sector where she will be dearly missed and remembered for the huge role she played in the professionalization of the industry. `

Mrs Golding will be remembered for her astute business acumen having established the company in 1976 and grew it to where it is today, particularly if one considers that this sector has always been male dominated. Her success must encourage all women in South Africa particularly the youth that with determination and hard work nothing is impossible.

The history of the property industry in South Africa will never be complete without mentioning the role she played in ensuring that estate agents provide nothing but quality services through the high standards she set not only for Pam Golding but the entire sector.

We will miss her passion for the sector, mentorship and most importantly her willingness to always do good to humanity.

Her passing comes at a time South Africa and the world at large is mourning the departure of struggle veteran Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, both of whom have dedicated their lives fighting for woman emancipation and equal treatment in our society. Their passing leaves a great void in our nation and we wish both families strength in this difficult time.
