CPD PARTICIPATION FOR 2023 – IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR NON-PRINCIPAL AND PRINCIPAL PROPERTY PRACTITIONERS
- Extended CPD Participation Period: Eligible practitioners for CPD in 2023 have been granted an extension of time until 31 March 2024 within which to fulfil their CPD requirements for 2023.
- Special Consideration for property practitioners who passed Professional Designation Examination (PDE) in 2022: Property Practitioners who completed and passed the exam in 2022 are eligible to participate in the CPD programme this year.
- Mandatory PDP Completion Before Payment: Before making any CPD-related payments, practitioners are advised to check the MYCPD portal and ensure the completion of their Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Settlement of Outstanding Fees for 2021 and 2022: Property practitioners with outstanding fees for 2021 and 2022 are urged to settle their dues promptly. Clearing these fees is necessary for participation in the 2023 CPD programme.
- Access to Historical Data: Please note that all historical data will appear on the current system. However, access to historical data will not be available, and catching up on the previous CPD point system is not possible now that we have implemented the Property Practitioners Act (PPA).
- Contact Information: For any queries or further clarification, please contact us by calling our call centre on 087 285 3222 or email to cpd@theppra.org.za.
Note: The details for the 2024 CPD program will be communicated in due course.
We appreciate your attention to these updates and thank you for your commitment to maintaining professional standards in the property industry.
